Comparison between Three Different Content Management Systems

It would be difficult for you to select a system of content management as you are going to get different opinions from different people. This article deals with comparison among three content management systems used for this purpose. They are Drupal, Joomla and WordPress.

WordPress:

People who are considering constructing an internet site on the content management system can use WordPress because of its easy installation, easy usage, simplicity and being intuitive. Plug-ins and templates are available readily on the WordPress.org. Installing of this is also very easy. Not much technical knowledge is required for handling this system.

The simplicity can act as a limitation also since the updating of functionality and features are important. For blogs, these are the perfect software.

Joomla:

Similar to the one mentioned above, this system is very easy to use mainly because of the visual interface of it. There are highly active community forums helpful to new users besides having several available plug-in’s at Joomla.org. A little knowledge on the technology associated with this would be an added advantage.

However, the effective integration of plug-ins may not be possible always resulting in an urgent removal of them. The hacking of community forums has been another issue.

Drupal:

Drupal is very much advanced and is known for its effectiveness, speed and tightly-built architecture. Compared to the other two systems the presentation and layout have few limitations. This system of contact management is preferred by webmasters.

However, the interface of this system is found to be least intuitive. Users with minimum technical knowledge would not be able to use it.
