Marketplace.com.au is a specialised e-Portal dedicated to promote Australian Businesses nationally and internationally. It is an online portal where buyers and sellers can promote their services and products as well as post Trade Alerts for new business deals.
B2B user driven web portal to promote Australian businesses
The site provides a platform for businesses to list their products, look for trade leads and find other businesses that may benefit their industry. The site has been developed using Web 2.0 methods and include search engine friendly pages. The site is currently in its Beta stage launch.
Development included achat application with video conferencing capabilities (similar to MSN Messenger), multiple servers to distribute traffic, SEO friendly web address, personalised mailboxes for interaction, between site members and automated tasks for sending trade alerts and notification.
